Competition

Eligibility
- Participants must be under 18 years of age at the time of entry.
- Entries must be submitted by the artist or their parent/guardian.
Categories and Themes
- Participants will compete in age groups:
  - 5–8 years
  - 9–12 years
  - 13–17 years
- The theme of the competition is either:
  “Blisworth” or “Blisworth Baptist Church Celebrating 200 Years”.
Submission Guidelines
- Entries must be the original work of the participant.
- Acceptable media include (but are not limited to): pencil, crayons, paint, charcoal, digital art, or mixed media.
- Artwork dimensions must not exceed A3
- Digital artwork must be submitted as high-resolution files in JPEG or PNG format.
- Submission deadline: 30th August 2025.
- Payment of £2.00 per entry form. No refunds will be given for lost forms or non-entry of artwork.
Entry Process
- Each participant may submit only one artwork.
- A completed entry form, including the participant’s name, age, and contact details, must accompany each submission.
- For participants under 16, the form must be signed by a parent or guardian.
Judging Criteria
- Creativity and originality.
- Relevance to the theme.
- Skill and technique.
- Overall impression and presentation.
Prizes
- Winners will be selected in each age group.
- Certificates will be awarded to all participants.
- The decision of the judges is final.
- The overall winner will have their work put on canvas to be placed on public view at Blisworth Baptist church
Ownership and Use
- By submitting artwork, participants grant permission for their work to be displayed online, in exhibitions, or in promotional materials related to the competition and subsequent Church use and publication.
- Copyright remains with the artist, but the organiser reserves the right to showcase submitted artwork.
Conduct
- Any entry found to plagiarise, copy, or violate the rules will be disqualified.
- Participants are expected to adhere to the competition guidelines and maintain respectful conduct.

- Artwork can be submitted via email or drop-off at Blisworth Baptist Church.
